Tom and Jenn met and began singing together in college at The Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. After graduating, they moved to New York and were immediately signed to production contracts, agents and management deals. Jenn was cast as Jenn (herself) in the what went on to become the hit children’s music TV series, “Hi-5” on TLC/Discovery Kids. Tom was signed to Benny Medina’s Handprint Ent. and began work in the world premiere of “Showtune, The Jerry Herman Songbook,” and was featured in the PBS film.
As the lead in “Hi-5,” Jenn made appearances on The Today Show Concert Series, Regis & Kelly and The CBS Early Show. Jenn toured large arenas and theatres across the US and Canada with “Hi-5” including The Kodak, Hummingbird, Nokia NY & CA, and 7 sold out stadium shows in Puerto Rico.
The couple moved to LA and while Jenn filmed 5 seasons and toured with “Hi-5,” Tom followed the footsteps of Billy Joel and became the house band for a Los Angeles hotspot. He played 5 nights a week for a year cutting his teeth as the piano man. In 2008 Tom released a single, “American Son,” for the ’08 Obama campaign and the two recorded separate EPs. Jenn continued booking roles on television shows including Criminal Minds, Up All Night, Body of Proof, CSI, Franklin and Bash etc. starring opposite Will Arnett, Christina Applegate, Jenna Elfman, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Dean Cain, Joe Mantegna, etc.
Tom produced a single, “Whattaya Say” which was featured in Garry Marshall’s international hit film “New Year’s Eve’ alongside tracks from Bon Jovi, Lea Michele, P!nk, and Goo Goo Dolls. In 2010 Tom and Jenn created the songwriting team/band Korbee Jones with multi-platinum hit maker Daniel Jones of Savage Garden. Their collaboration was avery successful and within 6 months they found themselves playing to 5,000 people at The Greek Theatre in Hollywood. As Tom and Jenn continued to write, amassing a strong collection of songs, they decided that moving forward as the duo, KORBEE, would provide the most authentic and undeniable outlet for their music.
