Why you should go to Disney now in your Twenties!

Twenty-somethings probably never think of a Disney World vacation as an option for them. As a matter of fact, they usually think “I’ll go there when I have kids!” What they are missing is that there is so much for young single adults that a Disney World vacation can offer!.

Here are some reasons why you should consider a vacation to Walt Disney World in your twenties!

Relaxation is probably the last term you would use to describe a Walt Disney World vacation!   If that’s the case you need to visit The Grand Floridian Senses Spa. Step through a Victorian-style entryway past a lavish mural of old Florida and escape to a timeless haven of pampering and relaxation, where rejuvenating elixirs, calming lighting and comforting music invite you to break away from the everyday.

Walt Disney World has some of the greatest entertainment in the world! For the price of a park ticket you can watch mini versions of Broadway caliber shows such as Beauty and the Beast at Hollywood Studios or The Lion King in Animal Kingdom. Visit Epcot’s World Showcase and watch Jeweled Dragon Acrobats in the China pavilion or an authentic Mariachi Band in Mexico!   Have a little more to spend? Visit downtown Disney and catch La Nouba is a Cirque du Soleil show for under $100 a ticket! And don’t forget, fireworks every night!

Thousands of people from all over the world visit Walt Disney World and many of them look forward to the many dining experiences they will have. Where else can one day you experience exquisite cuisines from around the world at Epcot’s World Showcase and each fall it’s Food and Wine Festival and the next dine in a castle with Cinderella! Or try the California Grill at the Contemporary. Ask for a window seat and you can dine while watching fireworks over the Magic Kingdom! How about a dinner show? At the Polynesian’s Spirit of Aloha dinner enjoy  an enchanting luau with Polynesian dancing and an all-you-care-to-enjoy feast.

Love to shop til you drop?! Disney shops offer much more than mickey ears and t-shirts! Epcot Country Showcase shops offers unique gifts from all over the world such as perfume and art. At Disney’s Grand Floridian Shop Summer Lace you will find upscale bath products from H2O and jewelry. Head over to Downtown Disney Marketplace and the West Side for brand names you are familiar with such as Arribas Bros, Ghiradelli, Curl by Sammy Duvall, Harley Davidson and more! No matter where you are on Disney property you are never far from a shopping opportunity!

The theming at Walt Disney World Hotels is a sight to behold. Each resort tells it’s own story. From The Wilderness Lodge inspiration of national park lodges in the Pacific Northwest to watching giraffes and zebras roam outside of your balcony at The Animal Kingdom Lodge. Are you looking for relaxing pool time? The Yacht and Beach Club’s Stormalong Bay, the Polynesian’s volcanic rock pool, or the Pop Century’s bowling pin pools are unrivaled by many.

At Walt Disney World, one theme park stays open a couple of hours later one night a week. You could be riding Space Mountain at midnight! Or in Epcot, you can taste adult beverages from around the world – margaritas in Mexico, beers in Germany and champagne in France! But aside from that, once you’ve conquered the parks, there’s Downtown Disney, with its movie theaters, restaurants, and clubs open until late in the evening. Or you can head on over to the Boardwalk where there is a dueling piano bar Jelly Rolls and the Atlantic Dance Company to entertain with singing, dancing and even a few adult beverages until the wee hours of the morning. And the best part? A safe and reliable free bus system is there to take you back to your comfortable Walt Disney World resort once the fun is over.
